Professional Experience

Carole has been The Schrader Group’s bookkeeper since 2001. Her responsibilities include preparing financial statements, handling payroll and maintaining files for both the administrative and property management departments. In addition to 20-plus years of experience as a full charge bookkeeper, she has worked for a wide variety of employers as office manager, executive assistant, personal assistant, secretary and receptionist. Carole has Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and History from University of Texas at San Antonio plus a business college honors diploma.

Personal Background

Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, to a British father and American mother, she grew up in Canada. Carole lived in both Iran (before the revolution) and Saudi Arabia in the early 1980s. The majority of her family is in Canada. She has a brother in Australia and numerous cousins throughout England and the U.S.  She is married to a retired military officer and has discovered cruising—ranging from Alaska to the Panama Canal to Europe. In 2015, she accompanied her husband on a trip to Egypt and Jordan to fulfill one of his travel goals. With travel as one of her favorite hobbies, she recently completed a bucket list item of visiting all 50 states.

Other hobbies are reading, antiques and attending live performances. In 2017, she completed 25 years as a volunteer usher at the historic Majestic Theatre and ushered at the Tobin Center for three years after its opening in 2014.
